How to automate tasks with AI in Grok Bot: create a routine. A routine tells one Bot when to run a task: on a schedule, or when something happens, like an email or a webhook call. Routines run in the cloud while your laptop is closed (source).

Create One

Ask in chat, for example: "Every weekday at 9:00 AM, summarize new support tickets in this chat." The Bot creates the routine (source).

Find And Manage It

Click the Bot's name at the top of the chat, then find Routines on the Details tab. Each routine has Pause/Resume, Test, Edit and Delete routine. Deleting can't be undone (source).

Test It

A new routine waits for its next scheduled time. Test runs it now and does real work, so use a safe input (source).

FAQ

Why hasn't it run? Check that it isn't paused and that When to run shows the time you expect (source).

Why This Matters To Me

I was an overworked and overwhelmed one-person shop trying to run a six-figure business alone, because hiring here is so expensive. Grok Bot helped me accomplish things I never thought were possible. Routines do work I couldn't afford to hire someone for. The full story starts in How To Set Up An AI Assistant With Grok Bot.

This post shares my own experience and opinions running Franchitti's Fix. Franchitti's Fix isn't affiliated with or endorsed by xAI or Midjourney. Product names belong to their owners. Features and plans change, so check each company's current docs. AI makes mistakes, so review its work.
