Vapor Chamber Cooling: Apple moved the 17 Pro Max from titanium back to aluminum because aluminum moves heat far better. A sealed vapor chamber with a small amount of deionized water is laser-welded into the aluminum unibody. The water evaporates over the hot chip, carries heat outward, condenses, and cycles back, so the phone holds peak performance longer.

Repair Assistant And Part Recognition: iOS Repair Assistant only calibrates parts that iOS recognizes. A recognized screen or battery can be calibrated in Settings and reports full battery health. Our Standard screens work great but will show an 'Unknown Part' notice, and our plug-and-play screens are built to avoid that message. If you need parts to show as factory, ask about our quote-only Premium tier.

Ceramic Shield Shatter Safety: Ceramic Shield 2 resists cracks far better than ordinary glass, but when it does break, it can splinter into fine shards. We tape and contain a cracked screen before separating it, which protects the frame and the flex cables underneath.

Biometric Security: Face ID does not use the front selfie camera to unlock your phone. Standard photo-based facial recognition can easily be fooled by a high-resolution printed picture or a video playing on another screen. Instead, Face ID fires a hidden Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL) that projects over 30,000 invisible infrared dots onto your face. An infrared camera reads the reflection to map a mathematical, cryptographic 3D mesh of your actual facial depth, making it virtually impossible to spoof with a flat image.

Back Glass Done Right: Shops that skip prep finish a back glass job in about an hour and leave glue residue behind. We clean the frame, protect the parts inside, and reseal the new glass with fresh adhesive, so the repair takes a few hours and holds up the way it should.
